Reflections in the mirror
As musicians, I feel we can make a HUGE impact on our surroundings. I being a code of conduct. We can influence, instruct, and teach as well as set examples. There is much to be said of musicians/artists helping each other, and then inspiring those who aspire! It will allow for a whole new generation of musicians to come up and shine! All the while spreading your own influence and codes. It's the power of together! Does anyone agree? I thank you for allowing me to post this, and for taking the time to read. (::)PEACE(::)

I completely agree with this. I've taken a cue from Sonic Youth, and I try to help out other acts, be them local or anything whenever possible. Sadly, it's not really paid off for me too well. I guess true alternative is just not as accepted nowadays. I love the post though dude.

I thank you very kindly for your response. Glad that you agree, now- WE grow! And that my friend is all you have to remember! Yeah, it doesn't always pay off, but, little by little your gaining respect, earning trust, and your reach is further then you realize. True lots of artists/musicians have this "built in" sense of competitiveness or what have you, but the end result in my humble opinion is the respect you earn. It goes a lot further then you know. And also it grows the circle that u can count on and trust. Reflections Foundation(which will hopefully launch in tandem with my album release)!will be an outlet for like-minded artists/musicians to collab with pros as well as aspiring. It's hard to separate the "agenda" seekers from the earnest, but believe me when I say- your support DOESN'T go unnoticed! Sorry to ramble, I certainly don't mean to push my ideals on anyone, just enjoy sharing something that I feel very lucky to have. U know?! Thanks for reaching out my friend, stay in touch! Hahaha I very much understand! Being a minor and starting in the music scene, it's definitely scary to a degree, but having that faith, and being able to reassure other people my age is really helping my local area get much more interesting and involved. I'd love to join the Reflections Foundation too! Lemme know once it starts up please! Any kind of tips on how to record better and such is always fantastic. And I know people always appreciate it and such, and i have a strong karmic belief, so I know something good will come my way from all one day. Oh music. You go so well with philosophy.
