As a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, J Jesus has coined his album with his skills, having written all tracks, sang on them, played rhythm and guitar solos, bass guitar, keys, trumpet, produced the entire album and co-mastered it.
His MessAge is clear, strong and controversially positive, standing in accordance with the reggae principles of Oneness - One Love - and Equality - Equal Rights - shared both by the Declaration of Human Rights and virtually all world religions: "A new sole monetary system based on Equality must be established to guarantee everyone has a dignified life. We all must take responsibility for ourselves and our creation and give to all that which from all we would like to receive." - That is his message and proposed solution to the long lasting crisis that humanity has been facing throughout the ages.
J Jesus, supported by two close friends and fellow musicians, has been performing his album in London for the past 6 months. Together they are J Jesus and The Wreck. Their live shows are full of energy, with intense bass lines, long rock and jazzy guitar solos, dub sections full of delays and wah wahs and fast changing and creative drum playing. Given his large experience as performer in these volatile times, J Jesus has come to understand that his childhood dream of a ten piece reggae band will have to wait. Together with his band, he has managed to make the best out of a bad economic situation. Through the use of today's technology, he has now cut back the band down to the three core members. This new strategy gave rise to the otherwise untapped possibility for J Jesus to express himself fully, by recording and producing the various instruments which are later heard in his live set.
