- Award-winning singer/songwriter, Jeannie Willets, is originally from New York and currently lives and performs in Los Angeles. Jeannie's smooth velvet vocals compliment her unique guitar-playing style and one could say that she is mainly an adult contemporary recording artist, with flavors of pop, folk, rock, and jazz. In 2004, Jeannie won 2nd Prize in a Singer-Songwriter contest sponsored by Los Angeles Women In Music for her song, "Plans With You", which is from her debut CD, "Anywhere I Go", and "That's When I Think Of You", from the same CD, was, also, recently chosen to be included on a compilation disc for the Acoustic Gallery (available at www.acousticgallery.com), for their "Acoustic Guitar Forum CD Volume 4". Jeannie released her debut CD, "Anywhere I Go", which includes 10 of her original songs, in 2005, and is currently working on her new CD, scheduled for release in Spring of 2012.
Jeannie has performed, with her band as well as "solo", at many well-known L.A. venues, such as, Genghis Kohen, The Derby, and The Coffee Gallery Backstage and will be scheduling a tour promoting her new release this Spring.
