WINTERGARDEN

Wintergarden is the musical creation of international singer, songwriter, performer and session vocalist Miriam Gardner.

The English/Danish songstress had been singing her own pop/soul songs for years and after releasing her debut double album “Ultimatum”, she started to seek new ways of musical expression, and turned to her metal guitarist and producer husband for inspiration and co-writing.

Soon Miriam started co-writing with other people in order to get new and fresh input. The net based co-writing through track file sharing became the basis of a new way of musical collaboration.

The “song writing across the globe” was an intriguing adventure. WINTERGARDEN was born out of the multi collaborative process with carefully selected, talented musicians, and songwriters from USA, China, Denmark and Australia.

WINTERGARDEN is a melodic pop / metal band with strong commercial appeal, being musically inspired by such bands as Breaking Benjamin, Sevendust and Evanessance. The combination of these influences has already aided WINTERGARDEN in attracting the attention of several interested labels both at home and abroad.

At present Miriam’s company VOCAL STATION is producing a debut album and 3 music video’s for re- lease early next year, and has also gathered a band together for the live set up, and will be intially releasing thier first single/Ep in September 2011.
